Black River Arts is an organisation based in Bridgend, South Wales that hopes to support and expand the local music scene, and encourage creative arts in the community.

We hold regular events showcasing some of the best up-and-coming talent the UK has to offer, from full bands down to solo artists at intimate acoustic settings. We make use of some of the best venues in the South Wales area, including Blaengarw Workmens Hall, Hobos Music Venue in Bridgend, and more to come.

Our intention for the immediate future is to make use of our facilities at Blaengarw Workmens Hall to offer a range of services, such as vocal and instrumental tuition, dance classes, music workshops and more, as well as offering a Music Technology & Professional Lighting course with apprenticeship positions available.
